One of my favorite memories during the start of my photography carer was taking this picture. It is amazing how exciting it can be to capture something as beautiful as a bird flying through the air or the emotions of a happy bride on her wedding day. I think that one of the things that got me hooked is that energy that just flows into me when I am behind the camera. The excitement of delivering the proofs and knowing that the pictures mean so much more the the bride and groom then they ever could to me. I get so excited about it.

I was recently asked what my favorite image is that I have ever captured and I guess that this seagull has to be one of them. Most of my attachment is that I had never seen a seagull yawn before. Seems kind of silly.. but it works for me.
