New Gallery Style

Filed under: Brady Whealon Photography,Gallery,IR,Minnesota,Portfolio — Brady Whealon @ 8:05 pm

Link to New Gallery Section. My good friend Andrew Verboncouer helped me out with a new gallery script base that I tweaked to fit with my site. I am pretty impressed with it so far and I love the ability to view images in a larger format as opposed to the internal galleries that limited the size greatly. For those of you that are interested I have included a link above ( click the picture ) to the new gallery and some recent infrared wedding and vacation pictures. Let me know what you think. If there are any suggestions for changes you are welcome to leave a comment.

Winona Senior High School Football

Filed under: Brady Whealon Photography,Photographic Portfolio,Photography,Sports — Brady Whealon @ 4:58 pm

After I purchased my telephoto lens I started to have a greater interest in photographing sports. My girlfriend Lisa is the starting setter for the Winona State University Volleyball Team so I started there but with the intent to expand my horizons I started to photograph football games for the university and also for Winona Senior High School. Even though the lighting on the Paul Giel field is not the best for night games but I think that under the conditions the pictures are fantastic.

If you wish to view or order pictures from the Winona High School games you can follow this link Winona Football or you can go to DigiProofs and use the guest password of: winona to access them.

Urbane Animal Commercial

I am excited to announce that I have helped produce a TV commercial for a design studio here in Winona MN. I first came in contact with Circle Six Design when they contacted me to photograph a charity event for the Winona Humane Society. I have done a few other smaller photographic jobs for them but by far this one is the most exciting.

Soon I will add a copy of the movie to the portfolio section of my website but until then you can view it at Circle Six Design. It was really interesting to produce for me because I still had the chance to use my still frame camera to make fast action stop frame animation. It was a wonderful chance to let my creativity out and I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out. I would have liked more time to shoot it a few more times. Thanks for stopping!
